Bananas are available all through the year. And banana milkshake topped with ice-cream is super delicious.
Let us start cooking!!!
Ingredients: (Makes 1 big glass of milkshake)
Banana: 1 (Golden – medium size, peeled and cut into small pieces)
Almonds: 4-5 soaked in water and skin removed
Sugar: 1 tbsp (Optional)
Milk: ¼ liter
Vanilla ice-cream: 3 tbsp (Optional)
Method:
1. Put the banana pieces in a grinder jar along with almonds, sugar and half of the milk.
2. Grind it.
3. Now add the remaining milk and grind again.
4. Add the ice-cream and just grind for a few seconds.
5. Pour in glasses with ice cubes.
6. Garnish with small banana pieces and ice-cream and serve chilled.
Tips:
1. I prefer misri over regular sugar.
2. You can add a pinch of black pepper powder, elaichi powder (Cardamom) and few threads of saffron.
3. Butterscotch ice-cream also tastes yummy with this shake.
