Apple Muffins

I baked apple muffins for the first time. I was so excited that while the muffins were getting baked I clicked the pictures from outside the oven and sent it to my sisters and friends.
Taste wise they came out very good. Give it a try, I hope you all will also enjoy baking and eating it.

Let us start cooking!!!

Ingredients:
All purpose flour (Maida): 2 cups
Baking soda: ½ tsp
Baking powder: ¾ tsp
Brown sugar: ¾ cup
Butter or ghee: ½ cup
Curd: 2 tbsp
Milk: ½ cup
Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
Apple: ½ grated, ½ diced
Cinnamon Powder: 1 tsp

Method:
1. Sieve together maida, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon powder in a bowl.
2. In another bowl take butter. Whisk it well.
3. Now add brown sugar to it and mix well.
4. Add curd, milk, vanilla essence and apple. Mix well.
5. Add in the dry ingredients and gently turn and mix. Try not to over mix the mixture.
6. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree C.
7. Grease the muffin moulds and pour the batter in it.
8. Bake them in the oven for 20 minutes.
9. You can check whether the muffins are done or not by inserting a toothpick into it. If it comes out clean then it is done.
10. Serve hot with a cup of coffee or tea.

Tips:
1. I used a combination of diced and grated apples. You can select any one also.
