Leftover Masala Dhokla step by step instructions:

Today I will be showing you how to make masala dhokla. It is very simple recipe indeed. So in case, there are some leftover dhoklas, do try to make these. I am sure you too gonna love them.

Ingredients:
Leftover Sooji Dhokla: 8-10 pieces
Tomato: 1 (finely chopped)
Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
Green chili: 1 (deseeded)
Curry leaves: 5-6
Coriander leaves: 1-2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil: 1 tbsp
Asafetida: a pinch
Mustard seeds: ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp
Red chili powder: ¼ tsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai and add asafetida and mustard seeds.
2. Let the seeds crackle. Now add cumin seeds and fry until fragrant.
3. Add green chili and curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds.
4. Add onions and fry until translucent.
5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add the tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cook until mushy.
7. Add the dhokla and mix well.
8. Cook for a minute and then switch off the flame.
9. Serve hot with tea/coffee.
10. Yummy “Leftover Masala Dhokla” is ready!
Tips:
1. Use salt carefully as the dhoklas already have salt in them.
2. I added the coriander leaves while cooking tomatoes. If you like fresh you can skip adding here and add at the last step.
