Honey Glazed Apples with Crumbled Cake step by step instructions:

I tried making this recipe for the first time and it was a huge hit. I had some pieces of homemade cake left with me, so I crumbled those and used in my recipe.
The recipe begins with glazing the sliced apples with honey and cinnamon powder. Then placing few crumbs of cake on one slice of apple and covering it with another. And then lastly bake it.
It seemed a perfect dessert to me for get-togethers, parties etc. Serve the recipe topped with vanilla ice-cream which adds to the taste of the recipe.
I removed the skin of the apples as those were waxed. If you find wax-free apples then don’t remove the skin. It adds beauty to the recipe.

Ingredients:
Apple: 1 (170 gms)
Honey: 2-3 tbsp.
Cinnamon powder: ½ tsp.
Crumbled cake: 2 tbsp.
Vanilla ice-cream as required

Method:
1. Cut the apple into half and thinly slice them. Remove the seeds and the skin.






2. Heat honey in a pan and add the sliced apples.




3. Add cinnamon powder and mix well. Let cook for a few minutes or until the apple slices become a bit soft.



4. Take out the slices on a dish.



5. Put the cake crumbs on half of the apple slices.



6. Cover them with other slices.



7. Preheat oven at 180° C.
8. Keep the slices in a greased baking dish and keep the dish in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.




9. Put scoops of ice-cream on the slices and drizzle honey over it. Serve immediately.
10. Delicious “Honey Glazed Apples with Crumbled Cake” is ready!


Tips:
1. These taste wonderful when a bit warm. Hence before serving just warm them and serve.
